Hi I'm Saskia!
I got my first camera at age 7 and have been loving photography ever since. I grew up in California and a piece of my heart will always be there, but I LOVE living in the Pacific Northwest with Neal and our two boys. I could not be happier than when I am with Neal and the boys playing board games (Harry Potter Hogwarts Battle, Lost Cities...) or baking (Chocolate Orange Cake, Blueberry Pie, Sticky Buns...), or just being cozy together.
I love photographing weddings and I love what marriage means today, now that people have the choice to marry who they truly love. People choose to get married, not because they have to, but because they truly want to. It was one of the best decisions of my life when I chose to marry Neal and I feel so blessed to be able to witness people choosing to get married today. Love wins.

Hi I'm Neal!
I grew up in Southern California, but went north as soon as I could to UC Santa Cruz and that's (to quote Tangled) when my life began. Before meeting Saskia I was an angst ridden cynic that would have ranked wedding photography quite low on possible futures. But in her I found love and a version of myself that understood happiness and could even understand weddings. Then with some photographic tutelage (Saskia is a great teacher and was able to show me how to make photos that were like what I envisioned) I was excited to take pictures and excited to take them with my wife.
Between raising my two sons, sharing this photography business with my wife, and working for a local non-profit, I don't have a lot of free time. But, when I do, I love exploring the Pacific Northwest (hiking, biking, kayaking, camping), watching TV shows (Better Call Saul, GOT, Atlanta, Magicians, Terrace House), and eating delicious food. Life is good!
