Jamie and Jacob’s Fall City Wedding was a wedding that truly reflected who they were. The outdoor setting and details reflected their love for the natural world, perfect for two science teachers. This was probably most clearly shown in the table titles named after Pacific Northwest flora and fauna, complete with scientific names and interesting facts. Their heritage and beliefs were reflected in the beautiful Jewish traditions such as the tisch (pre-ceremony gathering), the intimate bedecken (veiling of the bride), the signing of the ketubah (marriage contract), their beautiful ceremony under the chuppah which included the breaking of the glass, circling of the groom and bride, and reading of the ketubah, the blessing of the challa at the reception, and of course the horah (circle dance). Their love was clearly shown in a day that was filled with laughter, joy, and some very impressive dancing.
